This patch will not work with other versions of VEE than 7.51

Instructions

  1. Exit VEE and close any VEE help window that may be opened. If you have the VEE Service Manager running, exit it also.
  2. Copy or download the patch program to your computer.
  3. Execute the patch program to update the 7.51 version of VEE to version 7.52.
  4. When the patch program file browser window appears, browse to C:\Program Files\Agilent\VEE Pro 7.5 or wherever you installed VEE 7.5 if you did not choose the default location when you installed it initially. Then hit OK. You will then be prompted for confirmation.

Defects fixed in Agilent VEE Pro 7.52 update

A note on the new VEE 7 "minidump" feature: VEE 7 introduced a new debugging feature called the minidump.  If you encounter a VEE Serious Error (VSE) in VEE 7, you will be offered an opportunity to send Agilent a minidump, a file that contains information that can be very useful in helping VEE R&D determine the cause of the VSE so that we can fix it.

The minidump dialog also has data fields for your name and email address, so that we can contact you if we need more information or have ideas to help you with the problem. When you send a minidump to us, please consider providing this information. 

If you are concerned about the privacy of your data when sending a mini-dump, please click the Help button on the minibutton dialog to see what VEE puts into the minidump file and how we intend to use it.

Minidumps have helped us locate and correct numerous VEE defects since VEE 7.0 was introduced.

Defect numbers marked in blue in the list below were detected or corrected with the aid of minidumps. Please help us improve VEE by sending us your minidumps with your name and email address.
