NOTE: These directions apply to the 6.1 versions of:

* Agilent VEE Pro
* Agilent VEE Pro RunTime

This patch will not work with other versions of VEE than 6.1.

1.0 INSTRUCTIONS
----------------

1. Exit VEE and close any VEE help window that may be opened. If you
have the VEE Service Manager running, exit it also.

2. Copy or download the patch program to your computer.

3. Execute the patch program to update the 6.1 version of VEE
to version 6.11.

4. When the patch program file browser window appears, browse to 

C:\Program Files\Agilent\VEE Pro 6.1 

or wherever you installed VEE 6.1 if you did not choose the default 
location when you installed it initially. Then hit OK. You will then be 
prompted for confirmation.

NOTE: The following situations require running the update
program again:

* Reinstalling your VEE 6.1 product.

* Adding a component to your VEE 6.11 installation via the
"Add/Remove Programs" control panel applet.

22123: To/From socket serious error if hostname starts with numeric e.g. 12bayes1
17012: VEE whichOS() function doesn't support WindowsXP
21981: Callable VEE, import remote library can cause serious error
