NOTE: These directions apply to the 6.0 versions of:

  * Agilent VEE Pro
  * Agilent VEE Pro RunTime
  * Agilent VEE OneLab.


1.0 INSTRUCTIONS
----------------

1. Exit VEE and close any VEE help window that may be opened.  If you
   have the VEE Service Manager running, exit it also.

2. Copy or download the appropriate update program to your computer.

   * 60TO601VEEPRO.EXE to update Agilent VEE Pro 6.0
   * 60TO601VEERUN.EXE to update Agilent VEE Pro RunTime 6.0
   * 60TO601VEELAB.EXE to update Agilent VEE OneLab 6.0

3. Execute the appropriate update program to update the old version of VEE
   to the new version.

NOTE: The following situations require running the appropriate update
      program again:

      * Reinstalling your VEE 6.0 product.

      * Adding a component to your VEE 6.0 installation via the
        "Add/Remove Programs" control panel applet.

11166 VEE doesn't return user's stop code from Stop Object
11134 Serious error changing device selector on Plug&Play driver to 0 from 14 
      when there is an existing panel driver for that instrument 
11298 DynamicIO method 'InstrAddr' ignores bus address to avoid query set by 
      ExcludeAddrFromQuery property
11308 DynamicIO method 'FindAllInstrsOfType' does not allow instrument type 
      name containing embedded blanks
11309 DynamicIO methods 'FindFirst' and 'FindAll' matches model number 
      even if vendor code is different.
11300 VEE OneLab Print Program errors with Program Explorer not supported
11301 Examples\ActiveXAutomation\Word97DataSheet.vee errors on Word97 SR2
11302 Examples\InstrumentIO\DynamicFindInstruments.vee should not have 
      Init@PreRun set on DMM
11303 The following examples don't run in Windows 98: 
      Examples\Escapes\dirlist.vee and Examples\Manual\manual48.vee
